UNROLLING
All of our rugs lay flat when they leave the factory. When the rug is new, let it flatten out naturally before use. Work out any wrinkles using your hands or a cylinder (the actual carpet tube works well, too). Once the rug is flat, we recommend placing a rug pad underneath your new rug for longer wear.
CARE & CLEANING
All rugs require care to maintain their beauty and longevity. Vacuum regularly with the hard brush attachment of your vacuum. PLEASE DO NOT USE A BEATER BRUSH (ESPECIALLY ON THE OUT-DURABLETM BRAIDS). Spills should be cleaned as soon as possible. Spot cleaning with a non-bleach detergent is fine. For deep cleaning, we recommend seeking a professional cleaner. Our OUT-DURABLETM rugs are stain resistant and can be cleaned by simply hosing them down. However, the rugs must be layed flat to dry.
NOTE: Penny rugs will pill for the first few days. Use a lint roller or vacuum to remove the fuzz.
BRAIDED RUG REPAIR
Braided rugs are stitched together using extra strong thread. Should the threads become damaged or cut, the braids may start to separate. We recommend sewing the braids together with a needle and thread. If left unattached this separation will certainly grow.
